Description:

Hyper Artemisinin is a carefully formulated product designed to support normal cell division processes. It aims to ensure that these processes occur without errors or abnormalities. The formula includes active compounds with anti-proliferative, antioxidant, immunomodulatory, and pro-oxidant actions. These components work to limit the proliferation of altered cells while supporting the immune system in removing them from the body. This is especially crucial as modern lifestyles become increasingly hectic and stressful, and diets become chaotic—marked by irregular meals, poor food combinations, hurried eating, and consumption at inappropriate times. Additionally, diets today are often processed (devitalized, enzyme-deficient) and loaded with toxins, additives, and imbalanced nutritional profiles (e.g., disproportionate ω-6:ω-3 ratios, excess refined carbohydrates, saturated fat, or salt).

All of these stressors, combined with inadequate physical activity (e.g., sedentary lifestyle, poor posture, overtraining), insufficient hydration, poor sleep quality, and other harmful habits (excessive alcohol consumption, smoking, improper medication use), can generate oxidative stress and elevate the body’s inflammatory status over time. Moreover, these stressors may disrupt the gastric and intestinal microbiota, impacting digestion, intestinal transit, and immune response.

Chronic inflammation is a key trigger for many metabolic, renal, hepatic, cardiovascular, autoimmune, neuronal, osteoarticular, and even some allergic conditions. The presence of inflammation in the body over prolonged periods negatively affects overall health by diminishing resistance to pathogens and causing improper hormonal or immune responses, which can compromise health or slow recovery rates. Alongside subclinical inflammation, oxidative stress significantly increases the likelihood of cell division errors that the immune system must eliminate or contain.

Hyper Artemisinin addresses these challenges by offering a natural and effective solution. Its formulation is based on bioactive herbal compounds with cytotoxic (from Wormwood, Mistletoe), immunomodulatory (from calcium fructoborate), antioxidant (from selenium), and pro-oxidant (from iron) actions. Thanks to its concentrated formula and gastro-resistant vegetarian capsules, this product ensures the optimal delivery of active ingredients (min. 35% Artemisinin), which are protected from inactivation in the stomach while remaining easy to administer.

For the production of the extract, only 100% natural ingredients are used, such as young mistletoe fruits and twigs, along with the aerial parts of White Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) and Mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris). These plants are non-genetically modified (non-GMO), non-irradiated, and uncontaminated by heavy metals or other pollutants.

Thus, Hyper Artemisinin has been formulated to offer a combination of:

  • Cytotoxic, immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and pro-oxidant actions targeting abnormal cells.
  • Regulatory effects on cell division to maintain cellular health.

Hyper Artemisinin

Iron is a mineral naturally present, or added, in many foods. Dietary iron can be of two main kinds: heme or non-heme. The non-heme form is found mainly in foods of plant origin (nuts, beans, lentils, and other legumes) or fortified foods (flour, cereals), while the heme form is found in foods of animal origin (offal, seafood). The heme form is formed by combining iron with protoporphyrin IX. This mineral is an essential compound of hemoglobin, the protein found in red blood cells (erythrocytes), and which is essential in transporting oxygen from the lungs to the tissues. Most of the 3-4 g of elemental iron in an adult’s body is found in this protein, with the rest stored as ferritin or hemosiderin in the spleen, liver, or bone marrow. Similarly, iron is also part of myoglobin, a protein responsible for oxygenating muscles, thus supporting muscle metabolism and the health of connective tissues. The absorption and distribution of iron in the body are regulated by hepcidin – a circulating peptide that acts as a hormone – and the transport of this mineral is made possible by transferrin – the main protein that can bind iron. In short, iron is essential in normal physical growth, the development of neurological functions, normal cellular processes, and the synthesis of certain hormones.

Determining the status of this mineral in the body is quite difficult to do accurately, but the most effective method is to determine the serum ferritin concentration to assess the iron stores of the body in question. Thus, ferritin values of less than 30 μg/L indicate iron deficiency and values below 10 μg/L indicate anemia. Note that if inflammation is present in the body, ferritin values increase. Hemoglobin or hematocrit are often used for testing, but these methods are not very efficient. To avoid deficiencies in this nutrient, it is advisable to monitor dietary intake, with EFSA recommending a minimum intake of 14 mg per day. It should be noted that the minimum iron requirement in women is higher than in men because of losses during menstrual bleeding. Iron requirements also increase during pregnancy and breastfeeding. A similar situation applies to frequent blood donors.

To prevent iron deficiency and iron deficiency anemia, it is recommended to have a diversified diet, including both plant and animal sources of iron. In general, animal sources of iron are considered better than plant sources because, although plants can contain large amounts of iron, their bioavailability is much lower due to absorption inhibitors such as polyphenols. Therefore, for people who eat a vegetarian or vegan diet, have certain medical conditions, or follow very restrictive diets, iron dietary supplements can be an easy and safe way to prevent iron deficiencies. However, when using supplements, it is best to stick to the recommended doses, as iron overdose can be dangerous at doses higher than 45 mg/day. Side effects of overdosing include gastrointestinal pain, weakness, vomiting, nausea, or reduced zinc stores in the body.

In this product, we have introduced iron because of its synergy with cytotoxic substances in herbs. It has a strong pro-oxidant effect and can help limit uncontrolled cell division. Recent studies have shown the synergistic antiproliferative effect of the combination of iron and Artemisinin. These two compounds have shown a protective action in the gastric mucosa, causing peroxidation of lipids in the membranes of cancer cells and inducing their apoptosis.

Selenium is an essential microelement for the human body, being a component of more than 20 selenoproteins with a major role in adenomal synthesis, thyroid hormone metabolism, reproductive function, and protection against free radicals and infectious agents. It is present in organic (selenomethionine, selenocysteine) or inorganic (selenate, selenite) forms and can be absorbed into the body in both cases. However, the majority of selenium found in human as well as animal tissues is in the form of selenomethionine. The body’s main reservoir of selenium is muscle, which incorporates between 28 and 46% of all selenium found in the human body. By far, the best dietary sources of selenium are Brazil nuts, with one serving (6-8 nuts) providing up to 10 times the required daily intake of this trace element. Other foods rich in selenium are fish (tuna, sardines, halibut), seafood, offal, and meat from pork, beef, turkey, chicken, eggs, or wholegrain cereals.

However, especially in the case of foods of plant origin, the soil content of this micronutrient is very important. As soils in some areas (notably China, but also parts of Europe) are low in selenium, foods from these regions will also provide a low dietary intake of selenium. Most often, people living in these regions, as well as those with certain health problems (HIV, dialysis, poor intestinal absorption), vegetarians, or those following very restrictive diets, are at increased risk of selenium deficiency. In such cases, the consumption of fortified foods or quality food supplements containing this microelement is recommended. Organic sources of selenium are preferable as they have a much higher absorption rate than inorganic sources (e.g., over 90% for selenomethionine and only 50% for sodium selenite). Determination of selenium levels in the body can be done at both serum and plasma levels. The value considered sufficient for normal selenoprotein synthesis in the human body is 8 μg/dL (serum or plasma). This can be achieved, in healthy individuals, by a daily intake of at least 55 μg of selenium (for adults and children over 14 years) from dietary sources or supplementation.

Although quite rare in developed countries, selenium deficiency may be associated with several serious health problems such as certain forms of cardiomyopathy (Keshan disease), certain types of osteoarthritis (Kashin-Beck disease), male infertility, increased risk of cancer (colorectal, prostate, lung), or risk of exacerbation of iodine deficiency with possible effects on normal development in children (infantile cretinism). Selenium overdose is also very rare but can occur in those taking high-dose selenium supplements over long periods. The maximum recommended daily dose for selenium is 400 μg. Taking higher doses of selenium over a long period may increase the risk of diabetes, kidney or liver problems and may have side effects such as dizziness, blood clotting problems, tremors, muscle aches, irritability, hair loss, vomiting, nausea, nail changes, metallic taste, or garlicky breath odor.

According to the latest studies, selenium may play an important role in preventing certain types of cancers due to its role in DNA repair, cell apoptosis, and maintaining the proper functioning of the immune and endocrine systems. Its antioxidant action is also essential. However, these studies are still insufficient, and more data are currently needed. In addition to its possible anticancer action, selenium also appears to be involved in maintaining cardiovascular health. In short, the protective mechanism lies in selenium’s antioxidant action, which prevents the peroxidation of lipids such as LDL (and the formation of LDLox), thereby halting inflammatory processes and platelet aggregation. Again, more studies are needed to better understand the role of selenium in cardiovascular disease risk.

Another benefit of selenium supplementation could be to slow cognitive decline in the elderly. Preliminary research indicates a protective effect of selenium against neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s. Last but not least, due to selenium’s important role (along with iodine) in maintaining thyroid health, this microelement has shown protective effects against thyroid conditions such as Graves’ disease, autoimmune thyroiditis, or postpartum thyroiditis.

White Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) and Mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris), both integral components of Hyper Artemisinin, are renowned in traditional and modern phytotherapy for their diverse pharmacological properties, particularly in the realms of gastrointestinal health and anti-inflammatory efficacy. In this formulation, artemisinin—a bioactive sesquiterpene lactone—is meticulously extracted from the aerial parts of White Wormwood (50%) and Mugwort (20%). While historically recognized for its potent antimalarial effects, particularly through its application against Plasmodium falciparum, recent scientific investigations have underscored its significant cytotoxic and anticancer potential.

In Hyper Artemisinin, the artemisinin content is highly concentrated (minimum 35% artemisinin), ensuring enhanced bioactivity and therapeutic efficacy. Its synergy with iron(II) sulfate heptahydrate is of particular interest due to their demonstrated ability to induce lipid peroxidation within the membranes of malignant cells, thereby precipitating apoptotic pathways and inhibiting tumor proliferation. This synergistic antiproliferative effect is further evidenced by the enhanced pro-oxidant activity of iron, which catalyzes the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS), thus amplifying artemisinin’s cytotoxic potential.

Moreover, the aerial extracts of White Wormwood and Mugwort have long been utilized in traditional medicine for their ability to stimulate digestive function, enhance appetite, and modulate intestinal motility, alongside their eupéptic and depurative effects. In modern formulations, their incorporation alongside artemisinin facilitates a broader spectrum of therapeutic actions, particularly through the inhibition of uncontrolled cellular proliferation and the augmentation of immune surveillance mechanisms.

The combination of artemisinin with iron(II) sulfate heptahydrate creates a dual-action mechanism, wherein the pro-oxidant properties of iron complement the cytotoxic capabilities of artemisinin, thereby presenting a formidable approach in the modulation of abnormal cell growth. This integration of traditional herbal compounds with modern scientific insights into cellular oxidative processes marks Hyper Artemisinin as a cutting-edge supplement designed to support cellular health and the body’s natural defenses against atypical cells.

Mistletoe (Viscum album) is a semi-parasitic plant that belongs, more recently, to the Santalaceae family (the family of Santal trees), although the Viscaceae family was originally self-sufficient. It grows on the stems of other trees such as apple, fir, poplar, lime, pine, cherry, etc. Its toxicity varies according to the species it parasitizes. The mistletoe used in Hypericum products comes only from the stems of Apple or Fir trees. It is used in herbal medicine and for decorative purposes, playing an important role in many legends, traditions, and customs of European peoples. In phytotherapy, mistletoe is recommended for its properties of lowering blood pressure due to its vasodilating action, helping to modulate the anti-inflammatory response in the body, reducing muscle and joint inflammation, helping to maintain vascular health, increasing capillary permeability and microcirculation, and supporting lipid metabolism (cholesterol and triglycerides) in conjunction with a balanced diet.

Calcium Fructoborate (Ca[(C6H10O6)2B]2-4H2O) is an organic complex of calcium (approx. 4.7%), fructose(approx. 84.2%), and boron (max. 2.9%) found naturally in fresh fruits and vegetables, but also in nuts, herbs, wine, or beer. It is considered one of the most bioavailable sources of calcium and boron and is safer and easier to assimilate than boric acid, borax, or sodium borate. Calcium fructoborate is the only food form of boron considered safe, stable, non-toxic, and highly biologically active. Although the importance of calcium for the proper functioning of the human body is well-known, the same cannot be said of boron. Organic boron is an essential nutritional element for the health of the human body, but this fact is little known. In the past, boron was considered non-essential for humans and animals, believed to be relevant only for the normal development of plants. However, recent studies have demonstrated the great importance of this microelement, and more and more functions of boron and its derivative compounds are now being discovered.

The World Health Organization recommends an intake of 1-13 mg/day of boron, with a minimum of 3 mg/day (≈ 130.5 mg Calcium fructoborate) to ensure optimal nutritional benefits, as a deficiency in this mineral can be associated with osteoarticular problems such as osteoporosis. As some boron compounds can be somewhat toxic, Calcium fructoborate is considered the safest source for this element. Furthermore, scientific studies have shown that in this form, boron is used in the human body at both the cellular and extracellular levels with increased efficiency, as Calcium fructoborate is absorbed in an intact and stable form from the gastrointestinal tract.

In conclusion, Calcium fructoborate is a natural, safe, and highly bioavailable source of boron and calcium, two minerals that are essential for the proper functioning of the human body.

Importance of Calcium fructoborate:

Numerous scientific studies, both at home and abroad, have verified and confirmed the importance of organic boron, and in particular Calcium fructoborate, for the health of the whole body, especially the osteoarticular, cardiovascular, and immune systems. A lack of boron in the body is usually associated with:

  • Low levels of calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus, caused by inefficient absorption of these minerals;
  • Low levels of 25-hydroxycholecalciferol (vitamin D3), serum ceruloplasmin (an enzyme relevant to copper metabolism), and erythrocyte superoxide dismutase (SOD) – an enzyme with strong antioxidant action;
  • Increased levels of plasma calcium, serum creatinine, and blood urea;
  • Bone fragility and increased risk of osteoporosis;
  • Reduced mental agility in postmenopausal women and men over 45.

Particularly important for people who do not get enough exposure to natural light, or for those with a nutrient-poor diet, supplementation with good quality organic boron can counteract the harmful effects of dietary vitamin D3 deficiency (making it more efficiently used by the body). This, in turn, will support the metabolism of calcium, magnesium, potassium, and phosphorus, with favorable implications for bone and joint health. The benefits of Calcium fructoborate supplementation are even greater when this habit is adopted from childhood because organic boron plays a crucial role in the processes of growth and bone mass formation.

This bioactive compound is also involved in maintaining the stability and proper functioning of cell membranes. By reacting with biological substances containing cis-hydroxyl functional groups (such as glycolipids or phosphoinositides), boron ensures cell membrane stability and influences transmembrane signal transmission. Due to its action in regulating hormone receptor sensitivity, boron also helps to balance hormones in menopausal women by having estrogenic properties. Scientific studies have shown that this complex reduces the amount of calcium and magnesium excreted in the urine while also regulating 17β-estradiol and testosterone levels, particularly in postmenopausal women. Moreover, the same studies also highlight the importance of organic boron in terms of brain function, with boron deficiency associated with increased copper accumulation in the brain. It contributes to improved cognitive performance, such as dexterity, attention, or short-term memory.

Animal studies have also shown the immunostimulatory properties of organic boron, with supplementation of the diet of cattle with this microelement increasing their resistance to BHV1-induced disease. Also, in pigs stimulated with lipopolysaccharide (LPS), boron was found to affect cytokines released in cell culture supernatants. Consequently, boron can be seen to increase the humoral immune response while reducing the inflammatory response. In addition, through its anti-inflammatory action (decreases the values of biomarkers hs-CRP and TNF-α), organic boron reduces the incidence and prevalence of osteoarthritis and is also a good analgesic for such conditions, especially in combination with glucosamine, chondroitin, hyaluronic acid, or salicylic acid derivatives (e.g., aspirin, willow bark extract).

Calcium fructoborate also has beneficial effects on lipid metabolism, lowering blood cholesterol and triglyceride levels above normal limits. This is due to its action in boosting the activity of essential fatty acids such as omega-3 and increasing cellular energy output, which also speeds up wound healing. A diet enriched with calcium fructoborate can lead to a reduction in total cholesterol values, beneficially influencing the condition of patients with dyslipidemia, metabolic disorders, and cardiovascular disease. At the same time, the beneficial influence of calcium fructoborate on uric acid metabolism has also been observed, leading to a reduction in the value of this metabolic waste. Thus, supplementation with organic boron contributes to the reduction of uric acid accumulation in the joints, with a beneficial effect, especially for gout sufferers.

Last but not least, Calcium fructoborate also has antioxidant effects, limiting oxidative stress and indirectly protecting proteins against the peroxidation process (increases the values of antioxidant enzymes: superoxide dismutase – SOD, catalase, glutathione peroxidase, ceruloplasmin, vitamin C). This can have the effect of halting the progression of atherosclerosis by preventing the oxidation of LDL cholesterol (LDL). However, perhaps more important than its antioxidant action is the antitumor and anticancer action of organic boron, which has been shown in recent studies to help protect the body against cancerous diseases such as breast, lung, cervical, and prostate cancer.

In this product, the synergy of organic boron with selenium should also be highlighted. The two compounds enhance each other’s antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and immunomodulating action. Also, more and more new studies are investigating the positive interaction between Calcium fructoborate and selenium. For example, a study on chickens showed that co-administration of the two active ingredients resulted in an increased rate of development and regeneration of muscle mass in these animals. Thus, chickens whose diets were supplemented with boron and selenium showed a more harmoniously developed muscle mass, both quantitatively and qualitatively. The two microelements also appear to have a synergistic effect in maintaining the proper functioning of the reproductive, cardiovascular, and osteoarticular systems, and in maintaining normal cell division.

In conclusion, Calcium fructoborate is an excellent adjuvant in maintaining bone health by helping to prevent and reverse bone resorption and reducing the risk of osteoporosis by stimulating bone synthesis activity and calcium binding, which promotes increased bone density. It helps to regulate hormones in women going through menopause by maintaining steroid hormone homeostasis. It aids the body in using essential fatty acids efficiently. It facilitates the protection of cells and tissues against the action of free radicals, being a very important antisclerotic agent and having a favorable action in cardiovascular diseases. It helps strengthen the immune system, limits inflammatory processes in the body, supports the normal functioning of the muscular system, and improves cognitive performance. In short, it has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, immunostimulating, vitaminizing, remineralizing, estrogenic, osteo-constrictive, cardioprotective, and regenerative actions.

Through the synergy of biologically active compounds in Wormwood and Mistletoe with the microelements boron, selenium, and iron, the Hyper Artemisinin supplement effectively supports the immune system in the fight against atypical cells. In the first instance, thanks to boron and selenium, the product has an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory action, limiting oxidative stress and protecting cells and tissues against the negative effects of free radicals. Furthermore, through the presence of pro-oxidant iron and cytotoxic compounds from the three medicinal plants (e.g., artemisinin, thujone, viscin, viscotoxin, viscic acid), the supplement helps neutralize diseased cells and other pathogens. In addition, the active ingredients complement each other to maintain the health of the thyroid gland, immune system, nails, and hair.
